WEARING COMFORT OF FILTER MASKS
To ensure that masks are worn consistently and willingly by users, it is important to choose models with a high level of wearing comfort. Our half-face masks are designed to maintain a good, comfortable fit for the duration of use, even over long periods of time. The fit is guaranteed, among other things, by an anatomically designed sealing lip made of soft, skin-friendly material.

PUTTING ON A HALF-FACE MASK
Half-face masks only provide reliable protection if they fit properly and are worn properly. Thanks to a special, adjustable sealing lip, some models are one-size-fits-all. Others are available in S, M and L. Respiratory masks must be held in place with one hand while placed over the mouth and nose, while the other hand adjusts the straps over the head and neck. Many models have length-adjustable straps. Because facial hair, such as beards, can interfere with the fit of filter masks, users should always be clean-shaven. If users want to test the fit of the mask, they can place the palm of their hand over the exhalation valve and exhale slowly. If no air leaks out between the respirator and the face, the mask is properly in place.

As an alternative to the above, they can also use their palms to cover both filters. If the mask contracts slightly on a long inhale and no air flows in from other parts of the mask, the half-face mask is well placed.

CLEANING OF HALF MASKS
To ensure the functionality and cleanliness of half-face masks, they should preferably be cleaned after each use. A disinfectant wipe or the like can be used for this purpose. After this has been carried out, the filter masks should be stored in a sealed box with as high a degree of airtightness as possible. The name and date of the last filter change can be noted on the outside of the box for convenience.
